More hours alone won't raise your price, but visible structure will. When a student can see the path from beginner to working artist laid out in front of her, a higher number stops looking arbitrary.
The Kit Makes It Real
A physical box waiting at the door before lesson one turns an abstract promise into something tangible. It also removes the friction of a student having to source equipment she doesn't understand yet. Who Brings the Model, Changes Everything

Theory Is What Justifies the Premium
It's tempting to treat theory as the warm-up before the real work starts. It's actually the opposite. Rich theory, the kind that explains not just how to make a stroke but why it heals the way it does, is what turns a student who repeats a technique into an artist who can solve problems. That's exactly the capability a client will pay a premium for later, and it's what a student will pay a premium to acquire now.
Let Her Practise at Home
Whether a student can build muscle memory between sessions, using tools she already has, quietly decides who can buy your course and what you can charge for it. Ship the kit first, unlock the theory, let her arrive at her in-person days already comfortable holding the tools. The more your course depends on equipment she doesn't own, the narrower your audience gets, unless you bundle that equipment in and price the convenience.
Build Your Tiers, Don't Pick One Price
The cleanest way to hold all of this together is three options rather than one. A lean online tier for the budget-conscious, a hybrid core tier where most students should land, a comprehensive tier at the top with more in-person days and a provided model to anchor the rest. This turns a yes-or-no decision into a choice between options, and a well-placed top tier makes your core offer feel like the sensible pick rather than the expensive one.
Price with intention. Make the value visible at every level. Let the structure do the persuading, not a discount.
